Press Conference in Tampa Held by Family of Tiger King’s Don Lewis

The family of the missing man Don Lewis, who is featured in Netflix’s true-crime docuseries ‘Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness,’ held a live press conference in Tampa, Florida, on August 10, 2020.

Lewis disappeared after he left his home in Tampa on August 18, 1997. However, the details on this mystery are still unsolved 20 years later.

Lewis’ family has filed a lawsuit with Jacksonville personal injury lawyer John Phillips as their attorney. They are now offering a $100,000 reward to anyone that can give information to help solve the case.

Suspicion about Lewis’ disappearance arose as ‘Tiger King’ gained popularity among viewers earlier this year. The Netflix docuseries, which premiered on the streaming service in March 2020, centers on the extreme rivalry between Joe Exotic, former owner of the GW Zoo, and Carole Baskin, the CEO of Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, Florida.

Lewis’ family is hoping to gain more information about his tragic disappearance for use in later lawsuits.
