I adored the first Frozen movie when I was younger.

I can’t even remember the number of times that I watched it.

So, when I found out that they were making a Frozen 2, I was so happy that I would be able to see the continuation of the story of Elsa and Anna.  The sisterhood and their love always brought a smile to my face.

It was interesting because Frozen 2 is completely different than the original Frozen.

It was unlike anything I expected even after seeing the trailer. The movie takes place in autumn instead of winter.

It is about Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Sven, and Kristoff having to go on a journey that is unlike no other. They have new encounters and get out of their comfort zones and realize they are far from Arendelle, the city they call home.

The new music seems like it would be very fun to sing along to just like the music in the first Frozen. Elsa played by Idina Menzel and Anna played by Kristen Bell both did an amazing job, especially with the music.

Frozen 2 shows love and sisterhood in every way possible. What was truly remarkable was how Anna and Elsa truly cared for each other. Especially how Anna promised to never leave Elsa’s side. All that they did for each was a complete definition of sisterhood and that was the true message of this movie.

Overall, this movie was one of the best that I have seen in a long time. All Frozen fans galore will enjoy this movie no matter the age.

MY THOUGHTS:

I echo Krysta’s excellent review. I loved this movie. I went with my beloved sister and sister-in-law. We took my nieces and nephews. Not all are pictured here.

The adults agreed we are constantly amazed at the messages crafted by Disney. Messages that resonate with both children and adults. I do not want to give too much away. I will say Frozen 2 takes a realistic look at families. I will leave it at that because again, I do not want to hint at  some of the surprises.

Enjoy it!
