You know the saying that if a love is meant for you, it will always find its way back to you? 

Some love stories can be heavy, but they always reveal the strongest relationships of all. 

On this Love in America, I am honored to join Kenneth and Latarsha Haughton as I listen to the story of how their love unraveled and persevered throughout many different stages of life. As next-door neighbors and high school sweethearts, Kenneth and Latarsha were inseparable and the best of friends. Yet what Kenneth didn’t know was the darkness Latarsha was truly enduring behind closed doors.  

After years of separation, growth, and transformation, the couple had found themselves in each other’s arms once again, and this time, free from the heavy baggage Latarsha was forced to carry. Now after five years of happy marriage, Latarsha and Kenneth have a beautiful story to tell, as they allow God to be the foundation of their relationship, and are open to sharing their journey of struggles and joy. “Kenneth was my safe space.”
