Laura Byrne is an award-winning former television news journalist who spent 15+ years in newsrooms across the state of Florida, covering politics, crime, and every day breaking news. As the Creative Director and Editorial Manager of Tampa Bay Parenting magazine, Laura, who is the mother of two boys, is now focused on sharing positive news stories and events with families in Tampa Bay. Like Laura, Anna De Jesus is committed to sharing her family's story. After 15 years as an Emmy-nominated television journalist, Anna left the newsroom to focus on her family and to travel overseas, creating “The Great Escape Plan.” Anna also has written two children’s books with the help of her son and daughter! In this podcast, Laura and Anna join host Sarina Fazan, live from the Red House Streaming studios, to go “On The Record,” sharing their experiences as women in business, their insight on balancing work and family, and their advice on how families can find more fun together.
