EP 92: Finding Light Through Music During the Pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic, which prompted remote learning and social isolation, severely impacted the lives of students. However, one entity that stayed prominent and gave students light in the time of darkness was music. Sabrina Ahmed, a senior in a California high school, decided to use her musical theatre background to lift the spirits of children in an underprivileged community by putting together a virtual adaptation of the musical “Into the Woods.” In this episode of “On The Record With Sarina Fazan,” Sarina will be joined by Sabrina Ahmed and Carlos Navedo, the Director of Development at the Arts Conservatory For Teens, who will share how music improves the lives of children.
