Chi Chi Rodriguez is a golf legend, winning eight PGA Tour events and earning the designation of the first Puerto Rican to be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. But his achievements go far beyond the course! A visit to a youth detention center in Florida in 1979 lead to the development of the Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation, which helps at-risk youth in Pinellas County achieve academic, social, and economic success. In this podcast, Sarina Fazan is joined at the Red House Streaming studios by Sam Rockwell from Raymond James and Associates, who also serves on the foundation’s Academy Executive Committee, and one of the Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation’s students. They are going “On The Record” to share how this special nonprofit organization is teaching kids the skills to excel at the game of life!
