While it's undeniable that 4 Emmys is a prestigious honor, Sarina Fazan's true passion is working in the Bay area. In 2015 Florida's Associated Press recognized Sarina with Journalist of the Year. These awards are well sought and have strict criteria for consideration.

On the whole, Sarina has strived to be the best voice for the greater Tampa Bay area, and she will continue to bring the best stories to her viewers, to keep them informed, and entertained.

After all, being the Heartbeat of Tampa requires passion for the area.

HELPING FEMALE VETERANS

Honoring our veterans is important, but supporting them in our community is essential. Sarina Fazan stopped by Dress for Success Tampa Bay’s location at CareerSource Tampa Bay on Friday, November 6, 2020, to learn more about their “Celebrating Women Veterans” event and to see first-hand what the nonprofit is doing to help female veterans transition to civilian life.
